Hello! I have been writing about different products that help me manage life with pets. Here are some products my cats, dog, and I disagree whether they are essential.
I am sure you have seen the water fountains for cats and dogs. My daughter’s cat has one. When the cat stayed with us, my cats experienced the water fountain. One cat loved it! The other didn’t like the sounds when the water level was low.
I considered getting one but decided a big bowl the cats and dog could share worked best for me. If you want a pet water fountain, look for parts that are dishwasher safe.
One product that I really liked was an automatic cleaning litter box. The box had a sensor and a timer to rake the litter after each use.
The key is that the cat must bury. Usually, this is a given. We had 4 cats. One cat followed another too quickly and was “raked.” He became scared and refused to ever bury in there. This clogged up the rake. Eventually, we gave up and returned to regular litter boxes.
