I recently took my sons to Massanutten Ski Resort, Virginia, and this is a review of our experience.
I picked Massanutten because they work with a group that provides adapted skiing options.
Ratings on a 10-point scale:
For my 1st time, snowboarding teen sons: 10
Arranging accessible lodging: 10
Accessible lodging: 10
Wheelchair accessibility of ski lodge: 2
Wheelchair accessible activities: 2
Ability of staff to work with someone in a wheelchair: a true mix. A few very helpful – awesome! A group related to me like any customer – good. Some were openly annoyed by my existence and/or ignored me as a customer – err.
